The #1 reason to get rid of popup forms

"On average, small & medium business owners need their opt-in forms to pop up for 158 people to get 1 subscriber who will open their email newsletter." - Gill Andrews

Why is this?

Well, most people offer a discount or free shipping in return for the shopper's email address.

People like two things: 1) free stuff, and 2) bargains.

So much so that it's almost instinctual!

But the trouble is - those kinds of shoppers aren't interested in what you send. They just wanted the carrot you dangled in front of them.

So how do you get subscribers who want to read what you're sending?

Entice them with something of value that DOESN'T discount your product or service.

Think about why they've come to your site. What are they looking for?

Give them something that's the start of the solution to their problem.

i.e. if you sell piggy banks, you might choose to give away an ebook on how to save money.

Or, if you're a life coach, you might give some of your best tips (followed by how you can help).

So what is it that you can give away?

If you get stuck, leave a comment with what you sell or offer and I'll reply with a few ideas :)
